Our Global Markets business, part of Investment Banking division, provides a comprehensive suite of financial products to meet our clients’ needs ranging from financing and market access to yield enhancement and hedging. Our clients include financial institutions, corporations, investment managers, institutional investors and public sector institutions. Our Global Markets Business lines include: Equity Sales, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Stock Option Plans, Forex and Liquidity Providing.

Your Position

The Client Support and control team is part of Bank Degroof Petercam’s Investment Banking department. Its activities consist mainly in:
-    Client Onboarding and maintenance of KYC documents
-    overseeing the administration of Global Markets 
-    being responsible of client’s requests (telephone/e-mail contacts)
-    being the point of contact for Compliance, Audit, Financial Risk and Regulatory Reporting
-    overseeing the first line of defense (daily controls, incidents, processes, MAD/MAR, risk assessments, …)

Your Profile

-    Be a citizen of one of the Member States of the European Economic Area 
-    You have at least a Bachelor degree in accountancy, economics, commercial sciences or law
-    You have strong analytical and numerical skills  
-    You are passionate about Financial Markets
-    You are results-driven with a hands-on approach
-    You are able to work independently but you also enjoy working in a team setting
-    Your mother tongue is French or Dutch with a very good level of English
-    You are proficient in MS office (PowerPoint and Excel)

The Internship Program is a unique opportunity to discover the challenging surroundings of the Global Markets division. As an intern you will be an integral part of our Global Markets’ teams and you will gain a wide range of practical experience. Your day-to-day tasks will vary depending on your role and the desk you are working on. 
As we extensively invest in young talents, you will receive on-the-job training and work alongside talented professionals.
Our Program generally spans three to six months, but duration can vary depending on our business needs and your availability.
