Process & Risk Events Officer

Context

As part of the First Line of Defense, you will be in charge of managing the risk events of Private Banking and the documentation of processes, risks and controls for Private Banking.

Your Position

• Coordinate and analyze risk events and their root causes (incidents, commercial gestures and claims) in a timely manner.
• Report and escalate when needed following the guidelines from Risk Management.
• Ensure the documentation of processes and create documentation on new/missing processes.
• Identify and analyze risks related to each process according to the taxonomy defined.
• Analyze the existing control framework and assess the residual risk.
• Drafting and updating internal procedures
• Communication on status and process towards all stakeholders (front, operations, compliance, audit, risk management).

Your Profile

• Master's degree with a first experience
• Project Management & Risk Management Experience
• Proactive and pragmatic mindset
• Effective communication (Top down and bottom up)
• Strong analytical skills (capacity to investigate and evaluate information, producing solutions and contribute to making decisions based on own findings)
• Mother tongue Dutch or French, excellent understanding of English
