Sr Performance Process & Project Manager

Context

 

At Degroof Petercam we are strengthening the performance management culture, further developing the management accounting processes & extending the supporting financial control tools.
In order to support this important change management project & to ensure buy-in of all stakeholders, we are looking for a dynamic, talented Senior Performance Process & Project Manager, someone who is very strong at the consolidated performance management and the alignment of business line managers around the DP Group performance objectives.

Mission of the department:
Performance Management at Degroof Petercam supports management in their strategy setting and management decision taking, through data sourcing & analysis, group & business target setting, financial results projections & monitoring, management reporting & performance evaluation through prescribed methodologies & processes. Performance Management supports management in creating value for the company.
 

Your Position

 

  • Reporting to the Head of Performance Management & Group Procurement, you are responsible for the development & harmonization of key performance management concepts, processes & tools. In this transversal role you will lead the development of new processes & coordinate the recurrent processes: ranging from monthly & quarterly closings, quarterly forecast processes, annual budget process and multi-year strategic plan. Moreover, you will be responsible for the selection, customization & implementation of performance management tools to support the Budget & Forecast processes & the management reporting; 
  • You will support the Group Executive Committee in determining the performance management concepts, processes & tools which will allow them to have the necessary information for their decision-making process with regard to the strategic positioning of the different activities and the day-to-day financial management;  
  • You will lead a team of 2-3 professionals who help with the development & implementation of performance management concepts & processes and the management of projects to select & implement new tools to increase effectiveness & efficiency of the performance management team; 

 

Your Profile

 

  • University degree combined with 8 to 15 years’ experience in business finance / control, consulting, preferably within the financial services industry;
  • Excellent strategic thinking & analytical skills, organized way of working and structured;
  • Solid technical background and  experience with the selection & implementation of database architecture, management reporting tools and budget & forecast software;
  • Thorough understanding of the activities and purpose of a Performance Management department within the financial sector;
  •  Strong motivation and perseverance combined with the ability to understand the big picture and to elaborate the details and to deal with complex issues;
  • Continuous improvement mind-set;
  • Flexible and able to deal with a variety of tasks;
  • Very strong communication skills, ability to interact easily with senior executives.
