Context

At Degroof Petercam we are strengthening the performance management culture, further developing the management accounting processes & extending the supporting financial control tools.
In order to support this important change management project & to ensure buy-in of all stakeholders, we are looking for a dynamic, talented Enterprise Performance Management (Tools & Process) Officer, someone who has set first steps in consolidated performance management and who is used to align business line managers around the group performance objectives.
Performance Management at Degroof Petercam supports management in their strategy setting and management decision taking, through data sourcing & analysis, group & business target setting, financial results projections & monitoring, management reporting & performance evaluation through prescribed methodologies & processes. Performance Management supports management in creating value for the company.

Your Position

Reporting to the Head of Performance Management & Group Procurement, as the Enterprise Performance Management (Tools & Process) Officer, you are responsible for the further development & harmonization of key performance management concepts, processes & tools. In this transversal role you will:

Optimize & automate the sourcing and enrichment of financial, operational & commercial data
Review & enhance the management reporting with relevant & insightful commercial/financial performance metrics
Streamline & automate the production of management reporting: monthly & quarterly reporting to business line heads, executive committee members & directors of the Board
Select, customize, implement & administrate performance management tools (such as Anaplan) to support the Budget & Forecast processes & the management reporting
Support the Group Executive Committee in determining the performance management concepts, processes & tools which will allow them to have the necessary information for their decision-making process with regards to the strategic positioning of the different activities and the day-to-day financial management

Your Profile

For being successful in the role as Enterprise Performance Management (Tools & Process) Officer, we consider the below elements as ‘must have’:

You have a University degree combined with at least 2 to 3 years of experience in business finance / control, consulting, performance management, preferably within the financial services industry;
Experience in working with Anaplan, minimum at key user level;
Excellent strategic thinking & analytical skills, organized way of working and structured
Solid technical background and experience with the selection & implementation of database architecture in management reporting tools, budget & forecast software, and data
Strong motivation and perseverance combined with the ability to understand the big picture and to elaborate the details and to deal with complex issues
Continuous improvement mind-set
Flexible and able to deal with a variety of tasks
Very strong communication skills, ability to interact easily with senior executives
