Test Environment Coordinator

Context

Manage and coordinate support & projects activities of the current and coming test environments (integrated with our partners) for the critical applications / services (Core banking, customers mobile applications,...)

Your Position

  • Provide and daily maintain a global overview of events (functional, technical) on environments:  useful for future booking request, useful for detecting conflicts, input for the ATC (“Air Traffic Control”) meeting, provide an overview for IT teams
  • EMR: Full scope, current, future 
  • Test environments: ACC - ATC scope, current, future; ACC2 – with partner’s environments
  • Analyze environment requirements 
  • Support people (PM, IT teams) to register their request of env booking in the tool
  • Participate actively to the ATC
  • Inform about detected conflicts the ATC, concerned peoples (SLM, PM),..and suggest alternatives
  • Coordinate and improve data refresh, code refresh with IT teams
  • Standardize set of procedures to ensure environments implementation and applications deployments follow a consistent and repeatable journey through test and ultimately onto production
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (implement best practice, evaluate new tools and techniques, automate processes, …)
  • Optional: Versioning/ source control 
  • Optional: Project management in the context of env scope change (extension/ reduction): Works with Infrastructure team to gather and implement environment requirements
  • Optional: Harmonization of our test processes/ methodology 
  • And in second activity Cloud/ Azure release management

Your Profile

  • Master with a first experience or Bachelor with 5 years experience;
  • Knowledge of Change & Release management

Experience of environment management and associated tools, methodologies and approaches

  • Experience of IT architecture and infrastructure
  • Experience of the systems development lifecycle
  • Experience of project management principles, tools and methodologies
  • Experience of various software environments – client-server applications, web-based applications, SOA, BI systems, Cloud

Technical expertise: deep understanding of infrastructure services , software, network, and data configurations, familiar with tools for software control, for managing software packages, for deploying software

Soft skills

  • Pay close attention to detail
  • Commitment to high quality

Relevant professional qualification or graduate calibre
Facilitator skills is a must in order to keep constructive communication between all stakeholders
Coach all stakeholders and challenge the approach to reach the right maturity level
