Trailer Fees Officer

Context

DPAM is an asset management company with major clients in various European countries. As Trailer Fees Officer you will be in charge for the trailer fees calculation process for DPAM Institutional clients.

Your Position

• You are responsible for the trailer fees calculation process for DPAM institutional clients and will support the person in charge of the process for DPAM fund distribution.
• You are co-responsible for the daily operational duties: import of transactions, reconciliation and controls.
• You perform monthly position cross controls on the Fund administrators, Custodians and Distributors ensuring the quality from our figures. 
• You proactively manage issues with the tools or the various stakeholders (IT and business related issues).
• You follow IT projects on the dedicated trailer fees management tools.
• You handle relationships with counterparties for Trailer fee calculations and payments. 
• You collaborate actively for implementation and optimization of procedures, contacts with external parties, contracts & documentation management, ...
• You give your input on the Trailer fees contract and highlight any inconsistency.

Your Profile

• You have obtained a bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent with a first relevant experience (1-5 years) in the financial services sector.
• To support the Trailer Fee management team in their daily activities a strong analytical and critical mind is necessary. You also have good numerical skills to bring the financial tasks to a successful conclusion.
• You are figures oriented.
• Thanks to your study or relevant experience, you have advanced Microsoft Office (mainly Excel) user. 
• Affinity or experience with IT software is a strong plus.
• A solid organization skill is mandatory. You quickly get an overview of tasks, determine priorities, respect deadlines and connect the dots on a broader level.
• You are well-organized an have eye for details.
• You are proactive, flexible, pragmatic and have a ‘can-do’ mentality.
• You can work in a project management mode when necessary to implement new processes, IT projects, etc.
• You are a team player with good communication. You will work in a small team but you are able to connect with different stakeholders (Clients, Fund administrators, Financial Services, Legal department, IT Services, ..)
• You are a team player but can work in an independent and autonomous way
• You communicate well and are assertive.
• You can stay focus on your work for a long period.
• You have a very good knowledge of English and French. A good knowledge in Dutch is a plus.
